Today’s Chevrolet Silverado is already one of the most advanced vehicles on the market when it comes to towing. Segment-first features like the available Advanced Trailering System and a best-in-class 15 available camera views mean you can work hard and smart in a Silverado.
With the upcoming 2022 Chevrolet Silverado ready to receive the new Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert feature, this intelligent truck is getting even smarter.
GM-Trucks.com reports that the 2022 Silverado will be the latest Chevrolet vehicle to get this cutting-edge towing tech. Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert debuted on the all-new 2021 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, both of which just recently arrived at Transwest Chevrolet Buick in Sterling, Colorado. It builds on the Lane Change Alert feature currently available on the Silverado, alerting you when a moving vehicle approaches either side of your trailer or your truck’s blind spots.
Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert helps prevent collisions while you’re changing lanes with a trailer in tow, keeping you and your cargo safe. It joins a suite of other advanced technologies that includes Front Pedestrian Braking and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, making the new Silverado 1500 and Silverado HD a safer bet all around.
Transwest Chevrolet Buick in Sterling has the new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Silverado HD in stock for all your towing needs. If you’re ready to upgrade, call us now to arrange your test drive.
